Wire Harness Fabrication Associate (Product Development Associate)

Our Client, a Truck and Engine Manufacturing company, is looking for a Wire Harness Fabrication Associate (Product Development Associate) for their Elmendorf, TX location.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricating prototype automotive type wire harnesses assemblies, including soldering and crimping.
• Vehicle installation of wire harnesses and overlays.
• Work from schematics, diagrams, drawings, written and verbal descriptions.
• Wire harness inspection.
• Learn proper and efficient operation of wire harness fabrication equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance of fabrication equipment.
• General labor around facility & other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Vehicle level electrical system trouble shooting and diagnostics.
• Able to read automotive vehicle electrical schematics.
• Familiar with oscilloscopes and digital voltage ohmmeters.
• Collecting data using a Canalyzer and/or similar devices.
• Career experience in the heavy truck/automotive industry.
• Basic MS Office knowledge.
