Wire Processor
Shift: 2nd, (1pm-9pm)
Pay: $18-$25/hr (Based on experience)
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Wire Processor to join our 2nd shift production team. This position plays a critical role in supporting production operations by performing wire marking, cutting, stripping, and terminaling processes to meet both internal and external customer requirements.
Job Description:
- Cut, mark, strip, and process wire according to drawings, work orders, and program specifications
- Operate wire processing equipment, wire stripping machines, crimping presses, and measuring devices
- Maintain and care for wire processing machinery and tooling fixtures
- Track and document machine maintenance using maintenance logs
- Maintain high standards for quality, productivity, and accuracy
- Assist with setup and support of production personnel as needed
- Ensure all “PR” status wire and tubing orders are completed daily
- Stage work orders and materials for production
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and assembly instructions
- Troubleshoot machine issues using critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1–3 years of related manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
- CNC machining or equipment troubleshooting experience is highly transferable
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read measuring tools including rulers, calipers, micrometers, and scales
- Ability to convert units of measurement and perform basic math calculations
