Wire Processor

Shift: 2nd, (1pm-9pm)

Pay: $18-$25/hr (Based on experience)

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Wire Processor to join our 2nd shift production team. This position plays a critical role in supporting production operations by performing wire marking, cutting, stripping, and terminaling processes to meet both internal and external customer requirements.

Job Description:
  • Cut, mark, strip, and process wire according to drawings, work orders, and program specifications
  • Operate wire processing equipment, wire stripping machines, crimping presses, and measuring devices
  • Maintain and care for wire processing machinery and tooling fixtures
  • Track and document machine maintenance using maintenance logs
  • Maintain high standards for quality, productivity, and accuracy
  • Assist with setup and support of production personnel as needed
  • Ensure all “PR” status wire and tubing orders are completed daily
  • Stage work orders and materials for production
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and assembly instructions
  • Troubleshoot machine issues using critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–3 years of related manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
  • CNC machining or equipment troubleshooting experience is highly transferable
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read measuring tools including rulers, calipers, micrometers, and scales
  • Ability to convert units of measurement and perform basic math calculations
