Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the care and maintenance of all perishable tooling fixtures and wire processing machinery.
- Cuts and marks wire per drawing and program specifications with the appropriate equipment
- Maintains a high level of quality and productivity in all wire marking and cutting operations.
- Use existing maintenance logs to track all machine maintenance.
- Assist at times in set up of production personnel on the work floor.
- All “PR” status wire / tubing orders shall be cut / finished daily.
- Advanced knowledge of IPC Training Modules.
- Stage work orders
- Strip wire using wire stripping machine
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work area
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High attention to detail is required
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, with the ability to speak and understand English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers
- Must be able to convert units of measurement
- Time management
- Knowledge of operating crimping press, computer micrometer, scales, and other measuring devices
- Read and interpret schematic drawings diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions
- Must be required to read measuring devices such as rulers, micrometers, calipers, scales, and use magnifying aids
- Critical thinking, required to troubleshoot machine issues
