Wire Technician/Assembler
Responsibilities:
- Assemble instrument sub-assemblies and products as instructed.
- Wire sub-assemblies, cables, and products using hand tools.
- Solder wires to printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Rework and modify PCB assemblies as needed.
- Create mechanical test fixtures.
- Assist in inspecting metal work in the receiving department.
- Make minor modifications to metal parts in the company machine shop.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent work experience/technical training).
- Solder certification.
- US Citizenship.
- Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and PCBs.
- Experience with hand and manufacturing tools.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures.
- Clear communication in English (written and verbal).
- Availability for overtime when needed.
