Wire Transfer Operations Specialist

Oxford Solutions is working with a banking client seeking a Wire Transfer Operations Specialist for an onsite contract role expected to last approximately 6 months. 

The ideal candidate will have banking, financial services, or back-office operations experience and strong attention to detail. This role requires accuracy, speed, and the ability to manage repetitive transaction work in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and support a high volume of incoming and outgoing wire transfer activity
• Review wire documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal procedures
• Verify payment details and identify potential errors, discrepancies, or suspicious activity
• Assist with daily transaction processing while meeting required banking cut-off deadlines
• Collaborate with back-office teams to support smooth payment operations
• Complete administrative clean-up, data entry, and documentation tasks tied to seasonal volume
• Maintain accuracy while working through repetitive, high-stakes financial transaction details

Qualifications

• Prior experience in banking, financial services, payment processing, cash management, or back-office operations
• Wire transfer experience highly preferred
• Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Comfortable reviewing financial transaction details and identifying inconsistencies
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general banking or data entry systems
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow established procedures
• Must be available to start quickly and work onsite for the full contract duration
