Wireman III

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 5am-1:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Wireman III? We are looking for a highly skilled electrical assembly professional to join our manufacturing team. This senior-level, hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys building products from start to finish, solving complex electrical challenges, and mentoring less-experienced team members. While this is not a management position, you will serve as a technical resource and partner closely with Engineering on advanced projects.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in building high-quality products from concept to completion. The ideal candidate has extensive electrical wiring experience, excels at reading and interpreting schematics, and is confident troubleshooting complex systems. Experience with PLCs and automation is a strong plus and will help you succeed in this advanced technical role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble complex electrical wiring systems and control panels with minimal supervision
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Perform advanced electrical testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
- Support prototype builds, new product introductions (NPI), and engineering change orders
- Collaborate with Engineering to resolve design and manufacturability issues
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Wireman I and II team members
- Recommend process improvements to enhance quality, efficiency, and production
- Ensure all work meets company quality, safety, and compliance standards
Description of Company:
You will be supporting a well-established electrical equipment supply company in Rancho Cordova, California.
Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5–8+ years of electrical assembly or wireman experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Advanced ability to read and interpret electrical schematics from start to finish
- Experience working with medium- to high-voltage electrical systems
- Proven ability to complete complex electrical builds independently
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with control panels, PLCs, and industrial automation systems
- Experience supporting prototype or New Product Introduction (NPI) builds
- Experience working in regulated, safety-sensitive, or quality-driven manufacturing environments
