Wiring assembler that will be under general supervision, perform a variety complex wiring per wire run lists found on wiring diagrams.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Apply wire harnesses to product
Remove and add accessory wiring per the wiring diagram and wire run list.
Communicate problems with the wiring diagram, outline drawing and/or product with supervision and Engineering
Inspect work by lamping out wires added
Assure quality of connections and document all work produced
Ensure all tools being used are properly calibrated
Follow standard procedures for wiring
Comply with company rules and regulations
Operate equipment/tools in a safe and efficient manner as directed
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Participate in monthly quality feedback meetings.
· Willing and able to work in accordance with Lean methods and practices
· Willing to participate in continual training and willing to assist in the training of other employees
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have good communication skills
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Graduate or GED
Understand proper crimping and stripping methods
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, wire run lists, bills of material and shop orders
