Wiring schematics designer

Job Description

We are hiring an Automotive Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience in the Passenger Car domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical schematics, wiring harness design, formboard development, and vehicle-level troubleshooting and testing.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support electrical system design, validation, and issue resolution across automotive programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and interpret automotive electrical schematics
• Develop and validate wiring harness designs and formboards
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and testing at component and vehicle level
• Support system integration, validation, and testing activities
• Analyze electrical issues and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams
• Prepare technical documentation and reports

Required Skills

• Experience in Automotive - Passenger Car domain
• Strong knowledge of Electrical Schematics
• Hands-on experience with Wiring Harness & Formboard design
• Expertise in Troubleshooting and Testing of automotive electrical systems
• Understanding of vehicle electrical architecture
• Good communication and documentation skills

Qualifications

• BE / BTech / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Automotive Engineering
• Experience in automotive OEM or Tier-1 environment is a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with automotive tools (CATIA, Capital, Zuken, E3, etc.)
• Knowledge of automotive standards and validation processes
• Exposure to vehicle testing or manufacturing environments
