For the 4th year in a row, we've been named as one of the Best Places to Work by Virginia Business Magazine and Best Companies Group.What We DoWiring Specialists / Inventory Handlers are an important part of our team, building radio wiring harnesses that help customers upgrade and enjoy their new car stereos with confidence and ease. A successful Wiring Specialist is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Their primary responsibility is building wiring harnesses that connect aftermarket car stereos to vehicle-specific wiring adaptors by following wiring diagrams and reference programs. There are several tasks throughout the production process, but accuracy and consistency are key in every harness build. When connections require direct vehicle wiring, they provide the customers with the materials and instructions needed to complete the installation successfully. When not actively building harnesses, Wiring Specialists / Inventory Handlers may assist with other areas of the Distribution Center such as locating items via handheld scanners and packing them into boxes for shipment and replenishing product or cleaning.Job Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To The Following:Cutting and splicing wires using various hand tools and a pneumatic crimping machineFollowing/reading wiring diagrams to be able to make proper connectionsPerform quality check of completed workWorking with other various programs/apps to research accurate data/troubleshootingCommunicating wiring diagram or order errors to the proper channels (Ready-Harness Assistance, Vehicle Research team or Team Leader)Checking to make sure box is properly and completely packedBasic maintenance for tools and crimperAssist with other warehouse tasks (Pick/Pack, Replenishment, etc.)Clean-up of Ready-Harness area (sweeping, garbage, clean/disinfect workstations)Regular lifting (up to 50lbs) with occasional heaving lifting (up to 75lbs)Intermittent overhead reachingStanding or walking for extended periods of timeConsistent Predictable Schedule2nd Shift B: Sunday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday 11:30am - 8:00pmGreat Pay For Great Work2nd Shift B: Starts at $18.45/hourThis full-time position come with a comprehensive benefit package including health two health insurance plans to choose from along with dental and vision insurance plan options.
