QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential Functions include the following: Other duties as assigned.

• Meets professional responsibilities.
• Plans and organizes instruction to achieve general and course proficiencies.
• Provides effective instruction using a variety of strategies, which bring about desired student proficiencies.
• Assesses student progress and maintains records and communicates ongoing student progress.
• Organizes and manages the classroom environment to maximize learning.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills with students, parents, and the community.
• Demonstrates effective people skills.
• Participates in PLC
• Utilizes data to plan and drive instruction.
• Must be licensed in special education through IDOE.

REQUIREMENT:

Current Indiana Education Teacher's License

SALARY/BENEFITS: According to the salary schedule and benefit package per agreement of Western School Corporation and Western Education Association.

STARTING DATE/LENGTH OF CONTRACT: August 6, 2026
