An Off-Campus Work-Study Position - MUST have a Work-Study Award

The Wish Assistant works with the wish granting and development department completing hands-on work to support mission of the foundation. Desired outcomes would include stronger communication skills, higher business ethic, greater understanding of working within the not-for-profit sector.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Development: Assists in identifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding funds directed for our chapter. These tasks are done at the direction of the Development team.

Wish Coordination: Assists in coordinating the one, true wish of a child with a critical illness. These tasks are done at the direction of the Wish Delivery team.

Wish Family Communication: Assist in collecting all final paperwork from wish granting volunteers and families as well as sending wish family satisfaction surveys.

Community Communication: Assist in collecting all final paperwork from wish granting volunteers and families as well as sending wish family satisfaction surveys. Conduct welcome calls to newly qualified wish families to educate them on the wish process

Provide administrative support for the office as needed.
