Middle School Science Teacher - Maternity Leave

Employment Type: Temporary/Maternity Leave Replacement

Grade Level: Middle School - 6th Grade

Start Date: December 2026

Anticipated End Date: February 2027

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Indiana teaching license with an appropriate Middle School Science or applicable science content area, or eligibility to obtain appropriate Indiana

licensure.

• Knowledge of effective middle school instructional and classroom management practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to establish positive relationships with middle school students
• Commitment to collaboration and student achievement

Teaching experience at the middle school level is preferred but not required.
