WMS (Warehouse Management System) Lead
Location: Remote 10% travel

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze transportation data to identify trends and patterns that can be used to optimize the transportation system.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities by finding more efficient routes, negotiating better rates with carriers, or implementing new technologies to streamline the transportation process.
  • Manage the company's TMS system, troubleshoot technical issues, and make adjustments to improve system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other internal teams, such as logistics and customer service, to ensure that the transportation system is meeting the needs of the company's customers.
  • Develop reports and presentations to communicate transportation-related data and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of transportation analysts, providing guidance and training to ensure that they meet quality standards and contribute to the success of the transportation management system.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in transportation management system analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets.
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems and logistics industry best practices.
  • Experience managing a TMS system, troubleshooting technical issues, and making system improvements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and manage a team of transportation analysts.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or 8 or more years of experience in relevant field.
