WNHS Head Boys Golf Coach

West Noble High School is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and student-focused Head Boys Golf Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The Head Coach will be responsible for leading the high school boys golf program, developing student-athletes both on and off the course, managing team operations, and instilling values of sportsmanship, discipline, and academic integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Leadership & Player Development: Plan, organize, and execute daily practices, instructional sessions, and match strategies tailored to varying skill levels. Teach fundamental golf mechanics, course management, rules, and etiquette.
• Match & Tournament Operations: Oversee team preparation and scheduling for all regular-season matches, invitationals, and postseason tournaments. Coordinate team transportation, equipment, and facility use.
• Student-Athlete Mentorship: Emphasize academic success, character building, leadership, and athletic development. Enforce school district athletic policies, code of conduct, and academic eligibility requirements.
• Communication & Program Administration: Maintain clear, ongoing communication with student-athletes, parents, school administration, athletic department staff, and local golf course management. Manage program budgets and inventory as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience coaching or competing in golf at the high school or collegiate level preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of USGA rules, course management techniques, and golf fundamentals.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass all required background checks and obtain state/district coaching certifications (e.g., CPR/AED, First Aid, and required safety modules).
