Mission Statement: Motivated by the love of Christ, we promote abundant life by providing holistic services to women and men affected by unplanned pregnancy.Position Title: Women's Center DirectorPosition type: Staff (full-time, salaried)Department: Client ServicesReports to: Vice President of Client ServicesBasic Function: The Women's Center Director manages day-to-day operations of Alpha Women's Center (AWC) in alignment with the approved policies and procedures of Alpha Grand Rapids (AGR); oversees administrative duties for client services, volunteer coordination, and staff support across Support Services, Educational Services, and Material Resources departments; utilizes extensive social work expertise to address a wide spectrum of client needs. The core responsibilities include client services staff/volunteer supervision, program development, women's center daily operations, social work support.Key ResponsibilitiesCenter ManagementCoordinate daily operations of AWC, ensuring alignment with AGR's core values.Implement and maintain consistent policies, procedures, and forms for all departments.Act as a social work expert for AWC and Alpha Men's Center (AMC), collaborating with relevant department heads.Provide managerial support, supervision, and direction to AWC staff.Identify training needs for staff and volunteers and establish a training plan.Client ManagementRecruit clients and collaborate with the Marketing team on promotional materials.Offer counsel to staff and volunteers for managing difficult client situations.Manage cases, issue reports, and maintain relationships with clients.Medical InvolvementActs as a social work support to the medical department for patients and staff.Trained in urine pregnancy tests procedures and will provide services if no medical staff available for walk-ins or scheduled appointments.Communicate policies, provide orientation, and organize training for volunteers.Program ManagementOversee and manage Support Services, Educational Services, and Material Resources.Establish program policies, assess effectiveness, and track outcomes.Develop and implement client satisfaction surveys and maintain partnerships for referrals.OtherThis position is required to attend certain fundraising and volunteer events and additional events if asked. Staff Event Attendance Requirements.xlsxQualificationsEducation: Bachelor's of Social Work (BSW), Master of Social Work (MSW), Licensed or Limited Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW/LLMSW) (preferred), or relevant experience.At least five years of social work experience, including leadership roles and expertise in volunteer management, program development, and communications.Skills and AbilitiesStrong organizational, administrative, and managerial skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent leadership and communication abilities.Ability to handle diverse responsibilities, manage time effectively, and work independently.Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with employees, volunteers, donors, clients, patients, and the public.Ability to be flexible, quick on your feet, and can pivot as daily interruptions come up.Belief in the sanctity of human life and demonstrated emotional and spiritual maturity.Committed Christian attending a local church in full agreement with AGR's values.Respect for diversity and confidentiality.Refer to AGR Employee Handbook for guidelines.Exercise judgment while working closely with other directors.Pay: $57,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearMinorities and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.#J-18808-Ljbffr
