Conway Medical Center (CMC), the #1 rated hospital in SC on Google and a Forbes Best-in-State Employer, is seeking a skilled, compassionate Womens Health Nurse Practitioner to join our thriving outpatient OB/GYN team.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume ambulatory role with no labor and delivery responsibilities, perfect for a confident Women's Health APP who loves connecting with patients and providing comprehensive, relationship-based care.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
- OB?focused role based in the OB suite
- Outpatient clinical position supporting the OB/GYN physician team
- Standard schedule: 36 patient-facing hours + 4 administrative hours weekly
- Strong physician, nursing, and APP support
- EMR: Cerner with Dragon dictation + Ambient AI
CLINICAL SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The APP will primarily manage obstetric visits and OB-related patient care, including:
Obstetric Care:
- New OB intakes and initial prenatal visits
- Routine prenatal follow?up visits
- Prenatal counseling and patient education
- Postpartum visits and follow?up care
- OB triage visits as appropriate
- Collaboration with OB/GYN physicians for high?risk or complex cases
- Coordination of care with labor & delivery, nursing, and support staff
Gynecologic Care (as applicable):
- Annual well?woman exams
- Pap smears and preventive screenings
- Contraceptive counseling and management
- Diagnosis and management of common gynecologic conditions
- In?office procedures based on training and competency
TEAM & PRACTICE ENVIRONMENT:
- Integrated into a well-established OB/GYN program
- Supported by experienced OBGYN physicians, CNMs, nursing staff, and APPs
- On?site Level II nursery
- L&D, postpartum, nursery, and C?section ORs located on the same floor
- Strong clinical protocols and collaborative workflows modeled after physician practice standards
REQUIREMENTS / PREFERENCES:
- Board?certified Womens Health NP or PA
- Prior OB experience required
- Experience managing prenatal and postpartum patient visits
- Eligible for or licensed in South Carolina
- Ability to work confidently and collaboratively in a high?volume OB environment
