Sarasota Medical Pregnancy Center is looking for a compassionate Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) to join our medical team. As a nonprofit women's health organization, we provide no-cost pregnancy-related medical services, education, and support in a caring, faith-based setting.

About the Role
As our Women's Health Ultrasound Technologist, you'll provide limited obstetrical ultrasounds, support patient care throughout the medical visit, and partner closely with physicians and clinical staff to ensure every client receives compassionate, high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform limited obstetrical ultrasound examinations following established clinical protocols.
- Coordinate image reviews and clinical findings with the Medical Director.
- Assist with pregnancy testing and STI screening services when appropriate.
- Welcome clients and assist with medical intake and assessment.
- Educate patients regarding pregnancy, reproductive health, and available community resources.
- Identify client needs and connect individuals with wellness programs and additional support services.
- Document all patient encounters accurately within electronic medical record systems, including eClinicalWorks and eKyros.
- Conduct follow-up communication with clients regarding appointments, services, and care plans.
- Prepare examination rooms and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
- Assist with administrative duties that support daily medical operations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other department projects.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while providing exceptional customer service.
Minimum Qualifications
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or equivalent ultrasound credential.
- At least one year of professional sonography experience, ideally in obstetrics, women's health, or prenatal care.
- Experience working directly with patients in a healthcare setting.
- Comfortable documenting patient care using electronic medical records.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians and clinical staff.
Preferred Experience
- Associate degree or higher.
- Two or more years of diagnostic ultrasound experience.
- Previous experience in OB/GYN, pregnancy care, or reproductive health.
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
- Background in patient education, counseling, or healthcare navigation.
