    Manchester University is seeking a passionate and dedicated Women's Soccer Assistant Coach to help advance a competitive NCAA Division III program rooted in academic excellence, integrity, and student-athlete development. Reporting to the Head Coach, this position plays a vital role in recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and supporting student-athletes while contributing to the overall success and sustainability of the women's soccer program. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position with travel and nontraditional hours required, especially in season.

    What You'll Do:

    • Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of program leadership, including coaching, recruiting, retention, and team operations
    • Support the recruitment of student-athletes committed to both athletic and academic success
    • Monitor and support student-athlete eligibility and collaborate with campus partners to promote academic achievement
    • Help plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions and game-day operations
    • Assist with scheduling, travel planning, budgeting, equipment management, and inventory
    • Support fundraising efforts and alumni/advancement initiatives
    • Promote a positive team culture aligned with institutional values and NCAA, conference, and university regulations
    • Contribute to student-athlete development through feedback, evaluation, and mentorship
    • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the athletics department

    What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Coaching and/or playing experience preferred; NCAA Division III experience strongly preferred
    • Knowledge of and commitment to NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and compliance
    • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
    • Valid driver's license and ability to operate university vehicles
    • CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
