Overview: As a Wood Truss Loader, your top priority will be to accurately and efficiently load wood trusses for customer deliveries. Essential Functions: Promote and drive safety-first culture, ensuring the safety of employees, drivers, and customers.Operating a forklift and larger lift to load wood trusses on trucks and trailers.Promote and maintain cleanliness of the loading area.Perform other duties as assigned. Skills/Experience Requirements:Ability toProperly utilize and maintain all personal protective equipment (PPE)Read, write and communicate with employees, drivers, and contractors effectively and professionally.Operate forklift and other larger type lifts.Maintain a dependable attendance record.Receive instruction and follow directions, including technical and multi-step instructions.Work independently as well as in a team.Work safely, remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Preferred attributesHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious forklift and/or other type loading equipment experience Physical Requirements: Sitting for long periods of timeRoutine lifting up to 50 lbs (occasional lifting up to 80 lbs)Frequent to occasional stooping, squatting, kneeling, reaching, climbing, bending and twisting
