WOODWORKING / DOOR PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE — URGENT TEMP-TO-HIRE

Location: Lithia Springs / Fulton Industrial / Austell area
Pay: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Start date: Monday, October 12, 2026

CHASE Staffing is seeking an experienced, dependable Woodworking / Door Production Associate for a growing company. Candidates must be available for immediate screening and ready to start Monday after completing all required screenings.

This hands-on warehouse and manufacturing position involves preparing and assembling commercial doors, frames, and hardware. The ideal candidate has woodworking experience in cabinet manufacturing, garage door manufacturing, or a similar environment. Finishing experience is a plus.

We need someone who takes pride in accurate work, has an excellent work ethic, and wants a long-term opportunity. Dependability, a friendly attitude, and teamwork are essential in this small team environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, machine, and assemble doors, frames, and hardware according to work instructions.
• Safely use jig saws, hand saws, table saws, and other shop tools.
• Read a tape measure accurately and check dimensions before cutting or machining.
• Operate CNC machines and other press machines as needed.
• Use computer skills to follow machine instructions and production information.
• Inspect materials and finished products with a GOOD EYE FOR DETAIL.
• Perform finishing tasks, including applying water-based stains with sponges and sprayers, as assigned.
• Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts safely.
• Frequently lift and handle products weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the workday, using hand carts to move materials.
• Assist customers with warehouse pickups in a friendly, professional manner.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Support teammates and perform other warehouse duties as needed.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent, stable, verifiable experience in manufacturing, woodworking, production, or a related environment.
• Ability to use jig saws, hand saws, and table saws safely.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and good computer skills.
• Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, work ethic, and willingness to help the team.
• Friendly, professional communication skills.
• Own reliable transportation to and from work and a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to perform essential duties, including frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Clean criminal background and successful completion of a drug test required.

Preferred Experience

• Woodworking, cabinet manufacturing, garage door manufacturing, or similar production experience.
• Finishing experience using sponges, sprayers, and water-based stains.
• CNC or press machine experience.
• Ability to convert decimals to fractions.
