Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Certified RN Anesthetist (CRNA)-Woodhull.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of the organizations Core Values and incorporates them into the performance duties.
  • Attends in-service training programs, conferences, and departmental meetings to keep abreast of current knowledge in anesthesiology and improve patient care.
  • Performs appropriate pre-anesthesia assessment and post-anesthesia evaluation and follow-up of the patient.
  • Performs invasive arterial/venous cannulations, and monitors vital functions. These include blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, and fluid volume.
  • Performs life support functions during the period in which anesthesia is administered, including induction and intubation procedures.
  • Administers general/regional and local anesthesia for patients undergoing surgical and obstetrical procedures on an elective or emergency basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current NYS RN License required.
  • CRNA Certification or GRNA certificate with letter qualifying to sit for the national boards.
  • Advanced degree in Nursing required.
  • 4-5 years of similar experience required.
  • Must be comfortable working rotating shifts.
  • Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Salary Information:

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $122,500.00 - $161,514.38 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
