Workshop Machine Operator
Job Location: Petaluma, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $21-$21.50/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6am-2:30pm
Description of Position:
Do you have experience as a Woodshop Machine Operator? Our client in Petaluma is looking for a dependable and motivated Woodshop Machine Operator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands on experience or someone looking to build their skills in a manufacturing environment. This assignment is expected to last a least one month, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safety set up and operate a variety of woodworking equipment, including: T-molder, Drill prress, Kerf cutter, Pin router, Table saw, Precision measuring tools
- Follow detailed drawings, cut sheets, work instructions, and job orders
- Produce parts and products according to established quality standards
- Inspect parts and machinery for errors or quality concerns
- Assemble and package finished products
- Maintain quality standards established by the Quality Assurance team
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety toe shoes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Complete other duties as assigned

Experience Required:
- Entry-level manufacturing or machine operation experience
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Ability to learn and perform transactions in an ERP system
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Commitment to following safety procedures and using PPE properly
