Woodshop Worker
Job Location: Benicia, California
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Pay Rate: $22-$23/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6am-2:30pm
Description of Position:
We are seeking a motivated Wood Shop / Cabinet Assembly Technician to support parts processing, production, and shipment of high-end wood fixtures at our client's facility in Benicia. The ideal candidate is proficient in reading and using a measuring tape, understands screw types, wood assembly steps, and the use of dowels. This is a hands-on role well suited for someone with carpentry, mechanical, or product assembly experience who is seeking long-term growth and career development within a skilled manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with finishing prep, edgebanding, and doweling of wood fixtures
- Assemble and prepare high-end cabinetry and fixtures for shipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and use tape measures accurately
- Operate basic computer software to print labels and support shipping logistics
- Support packing and outbound shipping of finished products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Experience Required:
- Steel toed boots required
- Experience in carpentry, woodworking, mechanics or product assembly
- Ability to read blueprints and measure precisely
- Comfortable working with hand tools and production equipment
- Basic computer skills for labeling and shipping tasks
- Willingness to take a skill test as part of the next steps
- Must take a skills test
