Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Thursday | 5:00 AM–3:30 PM

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire | Eligible for permanent placement after 520 hours

Spherion Mid Ohio is hiring Woodworking Machine Operators for a 1st-shift manufacturing opportunity in Holmes County. You'll work with wood materials and production equipment to prepare, shape, sand, and finish components while building valuable woodworking and machine-operation experience.

Best of all? Your regular workweek is Monday through Thursday.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and stage wood materials for production
• Operate woodworking and production equipment
• Use planers, routers, sanders, and other tools
• Measure, shape, sand, and prepare components
• Inspect your work for quality and accuracy
• Follow established production and safety procedures
• Cross-train and assist in other production areas as needed

What You'll Need

• Previous woodworking, manufacturing, construction, cabinetry, machine operation, or similar hands-on experience preferred
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Ability to follow measurements and work instructions
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Dependable attendance and willingness to learn
• Ability to work additional hours when production needs require
