Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Platform Ownership
- Lead the design and management of WordPress multisite architecture for enterprise-scale deployments
- Own platform scalability, performance optimization, and high availability
- Serve as the primary technical owner, driving design decisions and best practices
Security & Compliance
- Implement and manage enterprise-grade security controls
- Drive vulnerability management, including patching, monitoring, and remediation
- Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and industry standards
Plugin & Platform Governance
- Establish and enforce plugin lifecycle management (evaluation, approval, upgrades, deprecation)
- Define governance frameworks for code quality, security, and maintainability
- Maintain consistency across multisite environments
Development & Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with internal development teams and stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers
- Review code and ensure adherence to architecture and security standards
AI-enabled Engineering
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) to enhance productivity and code quality
- Drive adoption of modern engineering practices within the team
