Job Summary and Responsibilities

As ourAdvanced Practice Provider (APP)in Work Comp Urgent Care, you will be a pivotal clinician, delivering the highest quality patient care and comprehensive occupational health services within our urgent care network. This role involves direct patient care in an outpatient setting - encompassing initial injury assessment, treatment, follow-up, and return-to-work planning for work-related injuries and illnesses, while contributing to clinical quality improvement initiatives and supporting our mission to provide accessible, efficient care for the injured workforce.

Every day you will provide expert ambulatory care, conduct thorough medical evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans for various work-related conditions, manage essential occupational medicine procedures (e.g., laceration repair, splinting, foreign body removal), and meticulously manage medical records to current policy and work comp standards. You will actively comply with all workers' compensation regulations, state guidelines, and federal reimbursement plans, including our ethical directives. Furthermore, you will actively participate in various activities focused on promoting clinical excellence and quality improvement within occupational health services, engage in clinic operational meetings, and, when assigned, provide crucial on-call coverage or extended clinic hours to support the urgent needs of the injured worker population.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or occupational health, holding an active state license (or eligibility to obtain one), demonstrating a commitment to continuously developing personal and professional competence through ongoing medical education and maintaining applicable board certification. • Serve as a pivotal Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Work Comp Urgent Care, delivering high-quality occupational health services, including assessment, treatment, follow-up, and return-to-work planning for work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Provide expert ambulatory care daily, conduct thorough medical evaluations, implement treatment plans, perform essential occupational medicine procedures, and meticulously manage medical records to work comp standards.
• Participate in activities promoting clinical excellence and quality improvement within occupational health, engage in clinic operational meetings, and provide on-call coverage or extended hours as needed.

We believe in compensating our talent exceptionally well. For this critical role, we're offering compensation in the range of $53.84 - $89.85 /hour

Job Requirements

Required

• Knowledge base specific to specialty
• PA/NP degree from a nationally accredited postgraduate certificate program required.
• Graduate from an Accredited School
• PA/NP Licensure for; and listed on the state Registry required. Board certified as an Advanced Practice Practitioner, in applicable population foci and/or sub-specialty.
• BLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
• ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting
• Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan.
• Work Comp Level 1 certification required by start date
• Must be comfortable with Work Comp
