Auburn University Facilities Management is seeking a Work Management Supervisor to lead the department that serves as the central communication hub for facility-related requests and services. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of the Work Management Office, ensuring that faculty, staff, students, and campus partners receive responsive, accurate, and exceptional service. You will lead a team of customer service professionals responsible for processing work requests, coordinating communication between departments, and helping ensure that maintenance and facility concerns are addressed efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities:
  • Assists in various aspects of personnel administration within the Work Management department including hiring, termination, employee relations, time keeping, and vacation scheduling.
  • Responsible for the development, documentation, and improvement of standard operating procedures for each departmental process.
  • Responsible for building a culture of trust, respect, and a positive work environment by modeling the leadership principles of empowering, enabling, encouraging, and developing direct reports.
  • Issues workorders daily and after weekends for the morning report and determines and reports, logs, tracks discrepancies generated from the vendor in the morning report (call log)
  • Supports answering service contractor in achieving and maintaining a 4.0 overall report card for each quarter and overall, for the performance period.
  • Continuing to develop the answering service scorecard improvement project focused on improving performance objectives and developing an improved measurement system.
  • Adheres to the established guidelines for vacation requests, scheduled appointments, emergencies, timekeeping, and scheduled workdays
  • Coordinates, uploads, checks for accuracy and makes changes to the online book for changes requested by departments, for process improvements/alterations, emergency call list and any other changes to the online book
Qualifications:

 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience in office administration and/or call center operations, or work order systems management. 
  • Valid Driver's License 
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of work management operations.
  • Developed supervisory skills.
