Position Information

Title Work Study Club Sports and Clinics Assistant Position Description

BSU's Athletics Department provides inclusive intercollegiate athletics and recreational programs that contribute to the recruitment, retention, and graduation of a diverse student body. We develop leaders, encourage community engagement, and strengthen the overall social fabric of the university.

The Club Sports and Clinics assistant will work directly with the Coordinator of Club Sports, Camps, and Clinics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Assist in the organization of club sports, including some home events and practices;
  • Assist and support sports camps/clinics provided to the local community;
  • Other general office duties as assigned.

Please note:

This position has very limited hours. Hours depend on club home games (weekday nights or weekends) and varsity clinics (weekend mornings).

Eligibility requirements:

  • Must be a Bridgewater State University undergraduate student registered for a minimum of six credits for the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Must have Work Study award in your financial aid package
  • Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in an office environment.
  • Ability to maintain a reliable and dependable attendance record.
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Microsoft Office and computer skills.

Physical Demands

May involve lifting 15-25 lbs.
