Join the BSC Digital Media team and gain hands-on experience with live event production, video recording, live streaming, camera operation, graphics, and basic video editing. Youll work alongside experienced professionals, build valuable technical and creative skills, and help bring some of the colleges biggest events to life.

What Youll Do

You will be assisting with the audio and visual setup and live-streaming and recording of Bismarck State College events, working directly under the supervision of the BSC Digital Media & Video Design Manager.

Hourly Rate: $16.00/hour

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with aspects of video production, including but ot limited too, assistant with pulling cable, running cameras, and striking equipment. Guidance will be provided by the BSC production team.
  • Assist with a variety of productions that will happen both on and off campus. This may include nights, evenings, and weekends.
  • Assist with creating graphics used within productions.
  • Work on basic-level video edits.
  • Support innovation, creativity, and ideas to improve/enhancce processes, functions, etc. in the department and as a whole for the campus
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Willingness to learn skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently and handle interruptions
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in video or audio production
  • Experience in a college environment
