f you love the great outdoors and working hard with your hands, then the job of Maintenance Technician is ideal for you. The Maintenance Tech inspects different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. Previous experience in maintenance, skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals are required. The Maintenance Tech will assist in a variety of common and skilled tasks as assigned in the operation of resort buildings and grounds. They use excellent customer service skills and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and guests of the resort.
Job Responsibilities:
⢠Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
⢠Conduct preventative and regular maintenance on resort systems such as pool, plumbing, electrical, appliances, or other systems as required.
⢠Carry out regular maintenance and emergency repairs. Act as point of contact if outside assistance is required.
⢠Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
⢠Repair machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
⢠Provide outstanding customer service to guests, make them feel welcome, and educate them on resort amenities.
⢠Assist with enforcement of policies, regulations, safety and health standards within the resort and make guests aware of any violations.
⢠Assist in other duties as needed.
