Brandeis University is looking to hire a Workday Analyst.
The Workday ITS Analyst participates in the ongoing enhancements, configuration, object maintenance, reporting, and data integrity for Workday. This position is a hands-on technical and functional role and is responsible for supporting the delivery of solutions across all modules in the Workday platform (HCM, Finance, and Student). The Workday ITS Analyst will participate in the ongoing enhancements, configuration, object maintenance, reporting, operational support, and data integrity for Workday.
Collaborates with functional users to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities. This position serves as a liaison between university departments and Information Technology Services to provide systems support and analysis, and to leverage technology solutions to meet the needs of the users of Workday throughout the University.
The Workday ITS Analyst collaborates with ITS Project Managers in building project plans, adheres to project schedules, and works effectively with peers.
The hiring range for the position is $82.9k-$94.7k.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Requirements:
BA/BS required; Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or Related Field preferred or equivalent HRIS work experience.
3-5 years experience configuring and maintaining business processes, including creating condition rules. Basic knowledge of Workday security and general knowledge of Workday integration concepts. Experience with Workday Request Framework, forms, and questionnaires. Experience creating Workday customs objects.
Functional knowledge of HR and Finance core business processes as well as strong systems analysis and support background, having demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies to solve business challenges is required. Functional knowledge of student information systems a plus. Intermediate knowledge of HCM and Finance concepts, practices and procedures with ability to apply in routine situations and the ability to innovate. Knowledge of Student concepts a plus.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing in clear concise language. Basic Project/Process Management. Ability to understand the business requirements, user needs and translate them into operational requirements.
Experience building and executing test scripts for Workday releases and enhancements. Ability to handle multiple high priority projects simultaneously. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional manner with an emphasis for service quality. Ability to assist other members of ITS Workday team.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines. Ability to work well under pressure and understand the urgency of University deadlines, strong customer service skills.
Must have strong attention to detail. Experience maintaining a high degree of discretion and sensitivity to confidential information.
