We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Developer/Consultant with 5+ years of Workday Integration and Studio experience and at least 2 years of hands-on Workday Extend experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, developing, testing, and deploying Workday Extend applications, integrations, and custom reporting solutions within the Workday HCM ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday Extend applications based on business and technical requirements.
Build solutions using Workday Extend Model-Level Components, PMD Scripting, Orchestrations, Workday Studio, and EIB.
Develop and support Workday integrations and third-party applications.
Lead discovery, requirements gathering, and design assessment sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
Translate complex business requirements into scalable Workday Extend solutions.
Design solutions considering security, performance, usability, quality, and operational requirements.
Lead technical design sessions and ensure deliverables align with project timelines.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Workday Extend implementation and deployment.
Develop custom reporting and integration solutions across Workday HCM.
Troubleshoot application and integration issues and provide production support.
Participate in testing, deployment, and post-deployment stabilization activities.
Provide technical guidance and demonstrate innovative approaches to solving complex Workday requirements.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Workday Integration and Workday Studio.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Extend.
Strong experience with:
Workday Extend Model-Level Components
PMD Scripting
Workday Orchestrations
Workday Studio
Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
Third-party integrations/coding
Experience designing and developing Workday Extend applications.
Strong understanding of Workday HCM and its integration capabilities.
Experience with custom reporting and Workday integrations.
Strong knowledge of security, performance, testing, and deployment considerations.
Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to lead discovery and technical design sessions independently.
Preferred Skills
Workday Extend Certification preferred.
Experience working on large-scale enterprise Workday implementations.
Experience with third-party application integrations.
Strong understanding of Workday HCM business processes.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Strong problem-solving and solution-design capabilities.
