Role Responsibilities: (what they will be doing)
Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM functionality across organizational structures, staffing models, jobs, positions, worker data, and business processes.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
Configure supervisory organizations, company structures, cost centers, locations, job profiles, positions, and worker lifecycle processes.
Configure and maintain Hire, Transfer, Change Job, Promotion, Termination, and Organizational • Change business processes.
Configure security roles, domain security policies, and role assignments.
Develop and maintain calculated fields, condition rules, validation rules, notifications, and eligibility criteria.
Support organizational restructuring, acquisitions, divestitures, and workforce management initiatives.
Perform impact analysis for Workday releases and configuration changes.
Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation activities.
Troubleshoot configuration and business process issues and provide production support.
Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent, Reporting, Security, and Integration teams to support end-to-end business processes.
Maintain configuration documentation, process flows, release notes, and operational procedures.
Support data validation, audits, and compliance-related activities.

Testing and Defect Management.
Production Support.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/prior experience. However candidates with any of these will be looked at first.)
5+ years of Workday HCM configuration experience.
3+ years of direct Workday Core HCM configuration experience.
Experience supporting large-scale Workday implementations, enhancements, and production support activities.
Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR operations.
Experience configuring Workday business processes, security, staffing models, and organizational structures.
Experience supporting testing, deployments, and release management activities.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Preferred Skills:
Workday Compensation experience.
Workday Absence and Time Tracking experience.
Workday Talent and Performance experience.
Workday HCM Certification preferred. .
