Workday Data Analyst – Contractor - 9+ Months

Location: Manhattan, NY – 3 days in the office per week / Los Angeles CA – 4 days in the office

Pay Rate:$35/hr


The temporary HR Shared Services Specialist provides critical support to the HR Shared Services function by handling employee data within the Workday human capital management system. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of employee data transactions across all office locations. This position serves as a frontline resource for resolving Workday-related Help cases and performing essential administrative data entry tasks that support the broader HR operation.

• Employee Data Management and Help Case Resolution. Monitor, handle, and resolve employee data management Help cases submitted through Workday. Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries related to employee records, data discrepancies, and system-generated requests. Ensure all cases are addressed promptly and in accordance with established service-level agreements.
• Employee Data Transaction Processing. Process a high volume of Workday transactions accurately and within designated timeframes. Transactions may include, but are not limited to, new hire data entry, personnel changes, terminations, transfers, and organizational updates. Verify the completeness and accuracy of all data entered prior to final submission.
• Administrative Data Entry. Perform a range of admin-level data entry tasks in support of the HR Shared Services team. Maintain and update employee records, generate standard reports as needed, and assist with periodic data audits to ensure the ongoing integrity of information housed in the Workday system.
• Cross-Location Workday Support. Provide Workday-related support to all office locations, ensuring a consistent and high-quality service experience regardless of geography. Collaborate with local HR teams and stakeholders to address location-specific data needs and resolve system issues in a timely manner.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Hands-on experience with the Workday human capital management platform.
• Proficient in navigating Workday across all office environments and capable of performing core data entry and transaction processing functions within the system from the outset of the assignment.
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a fast-paced shared services environment while maintaining a consistent standard of quality and responsiveness.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work
• Ability to work well independently as well as effectively within a team
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Delivers timely and accurate work products, and responds with a sense of urgency.
• California: Knowledgeable in California labor law compliance

 

Education:
Bachelor's Degree


Prior Experience Required:

Minimum of three years Workday experience


NYC - Hybrid position – 3 days a week in office

LA – 4 days per week minimum in office
