Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Consultant to join our Payroll Product Team. This role is ideal for a professional with deep Workday Payroll expertise who enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable payroll solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with product, technology, and executive leadership while driving key payroll initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements related to Workday Payroll.

• Configure and support Workday Payroll solutions to meet business needs.

• Partner with stakeholders across product, technology, and business teams to deliver enhancements and improvements.

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and validation activities to ensure solution quality.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and create/manage user stories within Jira.

• Support end-to-end implementation activities, including configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

• 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including:

• Requirements gathering

• System configuration

• Testing and validation

• Strong expertise in the Workday Payroll module.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.

• Experience creating and managing user stories in Jira.

• Strong testing background with demonstrated experience in test planning and execution.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to interact effectively with product teams, technology partners, and executive-level leadership.
