Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Workday Prism Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of enterprise-level data and analytics solutions within the Workday ecosystem. This individual will act as a true architect-owning high-level design while remaining deeply technical and actively contributing to build efforts. Summary: This role is heavily focused on Workday integrations and Prism Analytics, with an emphasis on designing scalable data models, pipelines, and cross-platform integrations. You will be responsible for defining how Prism should be leveraged across the organization, ensuring it is used strategically alongside other data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), rather than as a standalone tool. Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing end-to-end Prism solutions, developing secure and governed data pipelines from Workday and external sources, and optimizing performance and scalability of datasets and reporting structures. You will collaborate closely with reporting, integrations, and business teams to align solutions with enterprise data strategy and analytics needs. Additionally, this role will guide integration patterns, support analytics adoption, establish development standards, and mentor technical teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a platform-agnostic environment, contributing to broader AI and data strategy initiatives, and driving innovation across enterprise systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of Workday experience, including at least 2+ years of hands-on Prism Analytics development and architecture
  • Deep expertise in Workday Prism Analytics, including data pipelines, datasets, transformations, and security configuration
  • Strong understanding of Workday data structures, reporting, and calculated fields (HCM and/or Finance)
  • Proven ability to architect scalable data models, pipelines, and integrations across enterprise platforms
  • Experience designing and optimizing Prism solutions from an architectural perspective-not just executing builds or data loads
  • Strong knowledge of ETL processes and integrating external data sources with Workday
  • Ability to evaluate and define when to leverage Prism vs. other data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Hands-on technical capability with a willingness to contribute directly to development (-hands to keyboard-)
  • Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments with reporting, integrations, and business stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management principles
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Prior experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics strategies
  • Workday certifications (Prism, reporting) are strongly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
