Seeking an experienced Workday Extend Solution Architect to lead solution architecture, design, and implementation of Workday Extend applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience leading multiple Workday Extend implementations, strong knowledge of Workday HCM Core, data modeling, security, integrations, and application architecture.
This role will partner with business stakeholders, functional teams, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions while ensuring adherence to Workday Extend best practices and design patterns.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end solution design for Workday Extend applications based on business requirements.
Architect and recommend appropriate Workday Extend design patterns, frameworks, and best practices.
Lead multiple Workday Extend implementations from design through deployment.
Define and review application architecture including:
Security model
Integrations
Workflows
Data models
Application design
Evaluate Workday Extend platform capabilities, limitations, and recommend alternative solutions when required.
Review technical designs and development approaches throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Provide technical guidance and support to developers during build, testing, and deployment phases.
Identify technical risks, scalability concerns, and implementation challenges proactively.
Ensure application performance, maintainability, and solution quality.
Collaborate with Workday functional teams, business users, and technical teams to deliver successful solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
4 6 years of experience with Workday technology solutions.
Strong hands-on experience leading multiple Workday Extend implementations.
Experience designing Workday Extend applications and custom solutions.
Strong understanding of:
Workday HCM Core Functional concepts
Data concepts and data modeling
Workday security framework
Workday integrations and workflows
Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Ability to evaluate architecture decisions, technical risks, and scalability considerations.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Workday Extend application development lifecycle.
Knowledge of Workday integration technologies and APIs.
Experience working in enterprise Workday transformation programs.
