About the Role

Job Description

Currently we are seeking a on-site Workday Systems Engineer who serves as the Company's primary technical expert for Workday system configuration, design, and optimization. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining advanced Workday solutions that support Human Resources, Payroll, and related business functions. Working in alignment with Human Resources leadership, the Workday Systems Engineer translates business requirements into effective technical configurations, integrations, and reporting solutions while ensuring system integrity, scalability, and performance

Pay Range: $85K - $115K annually

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

TOP most relevant SKILLS AND ABILITIES being sought for this position:

  • Serve as the primary internal technical expert for Workday system configuration, design, and architecture across Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Recruiting, Performance, and related modules.
  • Design, build, and maintain advanced Workday configurations, including business processes, calculated fields, eligibility rules, condition logic, and system controls.
  • Develop, support, and troubleshoot Workday integrations, including EIB, Workday Studio, APIs, and other data exchange mechanisms, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions by evaluating feasibility, identifying system constraints, and designing configurations aligned with Workday best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations to leadership regarding system capabilities, risks, and optimization opportunities.

  • Advanced expertise in Workday system configuration, including business processes, calculated fields, reporting, and security.
  • Strong technical capability in Workday integrations, including experience with EIB, Workday Studio, APIs, or comparable integration frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of HRIS architecture and data structures, including how system configurations impact downstream processes such as payroll, reporting, and compliance.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while identifying risks, dependencies, and system limitations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective, sustainable solutions.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
