Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Preferably Workday HCM/Integration/Studio Certified
Strong experience in Workday Studio/Debug/API (Postman)/SSK
(Minimum 4 years or couple of implementations developing studio's from scratch)
Strong experience in xslt 3.0 (streaming) - along with Oxygen or other tools (Minimum 3 years)
Workday Core Connectors with DIS, DT, EIB
Workday Reports with good understanding of data sources & business objects
Workday Integration Security/ Customer central
Workday PICOF/PECI
Good understanding of Workday configuration, Custom objects, Workday methodologies, feature releases, best practices etc.
Overall understanding of Workday HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Time absence,
Talent/Performance modules with strong integration working knowledge of any 2
Experience in improving performances of studio integrations, following workday best practices
Any exposure to Workday Extend/Orchestrate will be a big plus
Roles & Responsibilities
The Workday Technical - Studio & Integrations Consultant owns end-to-end delivery of Workday integrations, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support. The role requires strong expertise in Workday Studio, APIs, XSLT, and Core Connectors, along with deep understanding of Workday HCM modules, integration security, and performance optimization to enable seamless data exchange across enterprise systems.
Lead the full lifecycle of Workday integrations:
Assessment Design Build Test Deploy Support
Workday Studio (complex integrations developed from scratch)
EIB, Core Connectors (PICOF, PECI, etc.)
Document Transformation (DT), Data Integration Services (DIS)
Workday Third-party systems (Payroll, Benefits, Banking, Vendors)
Design and develop complex integrations using Workday Studio
Studio development, debugging, and deployment
Workday APIs (SOAP/REST) using tools like Postman
Extraction Transformation Load
SFTP, HTTP, REST, SOAP connectors
Perform complex data transformations using:
XSLT 3.0 (including streaming capabilities)
Oxygen XML or equivalent
XML, JSON, CSV
Conve rt business requirements into:
Integration Design Documents (IDD)
Detailed data mapping documents
Studio vs EIB vs Core Connector
Data volumes, real-time vs batch, and system dependencies
Strong understanding of Workday modules:
HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Time & Absence, Talent/Performance
Salary Range: $85,000-$130,000 a year
