Seeking an experienced and strategic Lead, People Solutions (Workday Technical Lead) to serve as the technical owner and architect Workday platform and People Technology ecosystem.
This role is responsible for defining and executing the technical strategy, architecture, governance, security model, integration framework, and operational support model across Workday and related HR technologies. The Lead will act as the organization's primary subject matter expert and technical authority for Workday Security, Integrations, Data Architecture, and Platform Optimization.
The ideal candidate combines deep Workday technical expertise with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and enterprise architecture experience. This individual will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Talent, Finance, Information Security, Enterprise Architecture, and external service providers to ensure the People Technology landscape remains scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Experience & Qualifications:
10+ years of enterprise technology experience, including 7+ years of hands-on Workday technical roles.
Strong understanding of Workday business processes and data architecture.
Experience supporting enterprise people ecosystems and third-party vendor integrations.
Knowledge of security governance, audit controls, and compliance frameworks.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, HRIS, or related field
Workday certifications in Integration, Security, HCM, or related areas.
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and HR digital transformation initiatives.
Experience with other HR/People Technologies like learning platforms (Cornerstone etc.), recruiting platforms (Phenom, Greenhouse etc.), survey platforms (Qualtrics, Perceptyx etc.), Skills platforms, Case Management Platforms (ServiceNow etc.), Time & Attendance platforms (UKG, Infor)
Familiarity with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
Experience integrating Workday with identity management, payroll, benefits, finance, and analytics platforms.
Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps & ITSM practices.
Experience working in global or multi-region HR environments.
