A respected defense litigation firm is looking to add an attorney with substantive experience in workers' compensation to their growing team in Charleston, SC.

What they're looking for:

• 4-5 years of practice experience in civil litigation
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina, or pending SC bar exam results
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team structure
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and initiative to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort embracing AI tools to innovate and elevate everyday legal work

Logistics:

• Hands-on experience across all phases of civil litigation, from case inception through trial
• Direct client contact, with responsibilities including assessing new files, establishing action plans/budgets, identifying pleading requirements, preparing discovery responses, attending depositions and hearings, negotiating settlements, and preparing for trial
• Defined membership track with benchmarks and a formal mentorship structure
• Hybrid work options considered after initial training and team integration
