Job Summary:
Serves as the on-the-ground lead driving workforce pipeline development and community engagement, aligning local talent strategies with project hiring needs while building strong, trusted relationships across the community.
Responsibilities:
- Lead local workforce strategy, building pipelines aligned to hiring timelines for construction, infrastructure, and data center roles
- Establish and serve as the primary community point of contact, engaging residents, businesses, schools, workforce boards, and government stakeholders
- Develop partnerships with educational institutions, trade programs, and community organizations to strengthen talent pipelines
- Represent the program at public meetings, events, and town halls to share updates, gather feedback, and reinforce community presence
- Manage community concerns and feedback, ensuring timely, transparent resolution and escalation when needed
- Partner cross-functionally with economic development, government relations, and communications teams to support permitting, messaging, and project success
- Provide ongoing insights on workforce availability, community sentiment, and stakeholder priorities to inform strategy
Required Experience:
- 8–10+ years in workforce development, community engagement, public affairs, or related field
- Experience working with local governments, workforce boards, and educational institutions
- Background supporting large-scale projects (construction, infrastructure, data centers, or similar)
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
Preferred:
- Established local/regional network to accelerate workforce pipeline development
- Experience navigating permitting, regulatory environments, and community opposition
- Background in real estate development, energy, or hyperscale/data center projects
