Workforce Development Trainer & Instructional Designer

LOCATION: Mount Vernon, OH, USA

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor''s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development or related field
  • 2 - 5 years of experience facilitating instructor-led training or leading group learning experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to engage audiences and lead effective group discussions
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to create a positive and psychologically safe learning environment
  • Experience supporting training department or instructional design preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate) and blending learning approaches preferred

The primary focus of this position is delivering high-impact, instructor-led learning experiences that build leadership capability, strengthen communication, and enhance overall employee effectiveness. This role partners closely with subject matter experts, leaders, and internal stakeholders to ensure learning experiences align with business needs and drive measurable performance improvement. In addition to facilitation, this role contributes to the design and continuous improvement of programs, ensuring content remains relevant, practical, and impactful. Success in this role requires strong interpersonal presence, the ability to navigate group dynamics, and a passion for helping others grow.
