Company Overview:

The Supply Chain WFM Systems Sr Manager is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the WFM system used across Dollar General’s distribution network for employee scheduling and time & attendance. This role is a combination of technical support of the WFM system and providing support to end users via training/SOPs and resolving routine questions.

 

 

Job Details:

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Administers and maintains the WFM system including configurations for scheduling rules, pay rules, compliance, role permissions, mobile app, time off requests, and overall UI/UX.
  • Documents system configuration and performs audits to ensure data integrity and compliance. 25%
  • Manages the monthly testing cycle of the WFM system. Maintains and executes the associated test scripts. Partners with the WFM system vendor on enhancement requests and to resolve defects found during testing. 25%
  • Evaluates, tests, and documents new features offered by the WFM system. Designs and presents implementation plans for new features. Collaborates with IT partners as needed. 10%
  • Serves as lead and primary point of contact for distribution leadership/employees to resolve WFM system questions. Partners with the WFM system vendor to resolve issues. 10%
  • Develop and deliver training materials and SOPs to aid distribution employees in system usage and best practices. 10%
  • Perform routine data analysis or reporting to validate the accuracy of system configurations or uncover operational opportunities in system usage. 10%
  • Collaborates with the owners of related systems such as HRIS/HCM on integrations or to deploy updates. 10%

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Experience managing a WFM system such as Kronos and LMS system such as Blue Yonder is required. Experience with UKG Cloud/Oracle WFM, Blue Yonder/Manhattan labor management system LMS or comparable provider solution support tools and labor planning/scheduling third party integration capabilities, Industrial Engineering Labor Standards, Pay for Performance/Activity Based Compensation program management is strongly preferred.
  • Experience creating training materials and SOPs.
  • Experience with project management and change management.
  • Familiarity with labor laws, distribution operations, and employee scheduling best practices and trends.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and either MS Publisher or Adobe is required.
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and cross functionality including Supply Chain and SSC leadership.
Qualifications:

Work Experience &/or Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience managing a WFM system such as UKG(Kronos), LMS system such as Blue Yonder/Manhattan and related integrations with Industrial Engineered Labor Standards, Pay for Performance/Activity Based Compensation programs, or similar for a large enterprise.
  • Proven track record of managing, leveraging, project management deploying industry leading WFM and LMS systems to create and enable bottom line value impact for employees and company.
