Salary Range: Starting at $75000 / annually - depending on experience / education 

 

Job Summary:

The Manager, Workforce Strategic Initiatives is responsible for leading and supporting enterprise-wide workforce projects and initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and long-term talent strategy. This role partners closely with HR leadership, affiliate leadership, and other HR teams to drive strategic workforce planning, organizational change initiatives, process improvement, workforce analytics, and employee-centered programs aligned with organizational goals. The Manager serves as a key contributor in developing and implementing innovative workforce solutions, enhancing HR operations, and supporting initiatives related to talent development, engagement, retention, workforce optimization, and organizational transformation. This position requires strong project management, collaboration, analytical, and change management skills, with the ability to balance strategic planning and operational execution in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

Enterprise Workforce Initiatives

  • Works with the HR and affiliate leadership to identify key programmatic areas to support business outcomes and objectives.
  • Leads the planning of enterprise workforce projects, ensuring projects and initiatives have clearly defined approaches for operationalization, implementation, and long-term sustainability.
  • Develops and manages project plans, timelines, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
  • Ensures strategic alignment and consistency of implementation across Affiliates, while allowing flexibility to accommodate local organizational culture, regulatory requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Collaborates with and acts as a resource to teams that will implement and operationalize workforce projects and initiatives.

Change Management & Transformation

  • Applies structured change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci ADKAR) to support adoption and sustainability.
  • Identifies risks, barriers, and dependencies to develop and execute mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinates with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization and affiliates,

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Leads system-wide employee feedback process including administration and facilitation of feedback mechanisms, analysis of employee responses and trends, reporting, and action planning.
  • Partners with HRBPs and leadership to drive engagement strategies and improve outcomes.
  • Enhances employee engagement initiatives with organizational culture and communication strategies.
  • Supports leaders in interpreting engagement data and implementing action plans.
  • Drives programs aimed to reduce turnover and builds long-term career planning to enhance longevity.

Program Integration & Reporting

  • Uses data from multiple sources including HCM reporting, employee feedback, workforce metrics, engagement data, operational data, and stakeholder input to identify trends, inform strategic initiatives, and support organizational and affiliate decision-making.
  • Identifies and tracks key success metrics and outcomes of strategic initiatives and projects, and overall success indicators such as engagement scores, initiative milestones and adoption rates, turnover rate, and other indicators.
  • Prepares executive level updates, dashboards, and progress reports.
  • Other duties and tasks assigned by VP, SVP, CHRO, or their designee.
Qualifications:

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, workforce strategy, or program/project management with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Prior experience driving employee engagement strategies and/or organizational change management, project management, and planning highly preferred.

 Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Ability to understand business needs and translate them into HR solutions
  • Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate HR information
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to complex HR issues
  • Understanding of the shared services model and its impact on HR operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports

 License and Registration:

  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to use your own vehicle.
  • Clean driving history record.
