About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and capable Working Foreman to lead and participate in electrical projects across commercial and residential sites. The successful candidate will supervise electricians on site, coordinate day?to?day project activities, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project plans, NEC code requirements, and customer expectations.
This is a hands?on leadership role requiring strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to maintain productivity and quality across multiple job phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and participate in electrical installations and project tasks
- Supervise electricians and ensure team performance meets safety and quality standards
- Coordinate daily and weekly project activities to maintain schedule and workflow
- Review, read, and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Monitor progress and track changes to project scope, ensuring accurate documentation
- Participate in weekly to monthly project planning and updates
- Bend and install EMT conduit as required
- Perform rough?in work for fire alarm, security, and lighting control systems
- Support generator and transfer switch installation work
- Ensure site compliance with NEC code requirements, safety guidelines, and project specifications
- Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of electrical experience
- At least 5 years of experience as a Lead Foreman
- Ability to accurately read and interpret electrical drawings
- Experience with weekly to monthly project planning
- Strong ability to track and record changes to contract scope
- Skilled in bending EMT conduit
- Familiarity with rough?in requirements for fire alarm, security, and lighting control systems
- Knowledge of generator and transfer switch installations
- Strong communication, leadership, and team?management skills
- Knowledge of NEC Code requirements
- Must hold updated electrical certifications
- Must be able to relocate to Bermuda
