Immediately seeking a Part-Time Working Supervisor to oversee staff at a location in Harrisburg, PA (Dauphin County-Susquehanna Township). The Supervisor not only supervises non-supervisory employees but also engages in direct labor. The Supervisor shall be the first point of contact for any problem associated with the safety of the site. Shift is Monday through Friday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at $18.00/hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES(percontract but not limited to)
- Responsible for ensuring contract complianceandmonitoringservices at the site
- Maintains positive relationship with facility leadership and occupants
- Must complete walk through of each building, with notations, weekly
- Mustcomplete timecardsandsubmittimesheets, per schedule
- Responsible for reporting site deficienciesandmaintenanceneeds
- Assure site shift coverage,employeeorientationandtraining
- Conflict resolution;addressdisciplinaryconcerns
- Perform an unannounced QA site inspection each month on differentbuildings
- Address issues of the inspection form with employees for immediateaction on cleaning concerns
- Order/lightdelivery of thenecessaryconsumablesupplies on a monthly basis
- Oversee and assist in all daily cleaning, floor buffing, and refinish schedules
- Assist in creation and maintaining all site checklists
- Conducts interviews and new hire paperwork for any employee
- Assure sufficientsupplies are on sitelocation as needed
- Maintainagency equipmentmaintenanceandcleanliness
BASICQUALIFICATIONS
- High School Graduate/GED
- SupervisoryExperience(preferred)
- Somecomputer/technicalskills
LANGUAGEANDCOMMUNICATION SKILLS
- Ability to communicate to promoteteam effort and publicassurance
- Ability to complete requiredreporting and training
- Supporttheagency cause in action andcommunication
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Required to work a 20-25 hour weekdividedinto no less thanfivedays, predominately evenings
- Must be available to cover the day porter position for any call-off, scheduled time off, training, large event coverage
- Must be available for emergency activation coverage
- Workweekwill include some holidays
- Required to be available by phone24/7
- Will be equippedwith an agency cell phone and laptop
- Musthave a validdriver's license with an excellentdriving record
- Must be willing to travel and attend training as scheduled
- Musthaveability to lift
- Comply withagencypolicy
