Responsibilities:
AUMTeach Student Ambassadors provide support to the AUMTeach program in various capacities and functions, including recruitment, administrative support, inventory management, and other duties as assigned.
- Engage with students and other program personnel, answering questions, assisting any interested parties with information regarding the program.
- Assist with AUMTeach event/program management, including but not limited to: registration, logistics, setup/breakdown, publicity, and engagement with students.
- Assist with social media management and planning.
- Attend university-wide programs and events, providing assistance to AUMTeach staff and faculty as needed.
- Printing, copying, and/or distributing promotional materials for programs, events, and activities including flyers, posters, postcards, and other materials.
- Inventory management of kits, assisting faculty/staff with special projects.
- Recruitment initiatives, including events off-campus.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm to positively represent AUM and AUMTeach
- Knowledge of AUM programs and services to students
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills, in both one-on-one and group settings
- Ability to work within diverse groups
- Ability to manage time effectively and react quickly to multiple, competing demands
- Dependable and hard-working, with attention to detail
This position requires work outside of university business hours (8 am – 5 pm), including nights and/or weekends.
