Workplace Hospitality Coordinator

Location: Boston, MA 02110
Pay Rate: $21 $23/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Position Type: Temporary-to-Hire
Parking: Candidates are responsible for their own parking expenses.


Overview

The Workplace Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for creating a welcoming and professional office environment by providing hospitality services, conference room support, and backup reception coverage. This role includes meeting room setup, beverage service, inventory management, office stocking, and maintaining clean, organized common areas. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, service-driven, and enjoys supporting employees, visitors, and attorneys in a fast-paced corporate office.


Key Responsibilities

Hospitality & Office Services

  • Set up and break down conference rooms for meetings and events.
  • Prepare beverage stations and refreshments for meetings.
  • Stock and organize office supplies, kitchens, and hospitality areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
  • Clean and maintain refrigerators, pantries, and break areas.
  • Ensure conference rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and fully equipped.
  • Maintain a professional appearance throughout all shared office spaces.
  • Support daily office operations to ensure an exceptional workplace experience.


Reception Support

  • Provide backup reception coverage during lunch breaks, vacations, and other scheduled absences.
  • Greet visitors, clients, and employees with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
  • Assist attorneys, staff, and guests with general office requests.
  • Ensure visitors receive a positive first impression of the office.


Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer and office equipment skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow directions and maintain a clean, safe work environment.


Preferred

  • Previous hospitality, hotel, restaurant, catering, conference services, or office services experience.
  • Reception or front desk experience in a professional office environment.
  • Experience delivering high-end or "white glove" customer service.
