Workplace Services Porter Specialists

We are looking for amazing individuals who have an excellent background in demonstrating top customer care to come be a part of our team as a Workplace Services Porter Specialists located in our Port Arthur, TX office.  The ideal candidates must be detail-oriented with a strong focus & commitment in customer care and has a friendly & warm demeanor that is able to multitask performing various daily janitorial, cleaning and upkeep assignments within an office building environment.  Close attention to detail is critical in this role.  Assignments to include sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming as well as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms & other tasks to ensure the building is in a clean and orderly condition at all times for employees and visitors.

Hourly Compensation: $21.00 - $21.00 USD per hr (DOE)

 

Work Schedule:  Monday - Friday  7:00 AM - 6:00 PM

 

Location: Port Arthur, TX 

Responsibilities:

The Workplace Services Porter Specialists will be responsible for handling various multi-task duties such as daily sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming as well as cleaning and sanitizing restrooms & other tasks to ensure the building is in a clean and orderly condition at all times for employees and visitors.  Additional responsibilities include:

• Clean, sweep, mop, dust, vacuum and maintain daily upkeep of restrooms, conference meeting rooms, common eating areas, etc
• Empty and dispose of trash throughout the property in the designated area
• Sanitize and clean toilets, sinks and mirrors in restrooms
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed
• Perform clean up of all spills or other cleaning issues as they occur
• Perform routine and/various maintenance tasks as needed and report any necessary repairs or issues to management
• Adhere to all safety and security procedures

Qualifications:

The qualifications for the Workplace Services Porter Specialists must be very detailed oriented with a strong focus & commitment in customer care and with excellent organizational skills and ability to mult-task in this cleaning and maintenance role.  Additional qualifications include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Friendly/professional demeanor - a must
• Familiarity with common cleaning supply products and hand tools
• Excellent time-management skills and organizational skills - detailed oriented
• Availability to maintain a flexible work schedule to include evenings, weekends, etc
• Ability to trouble-shoot and prioritize work
• Excellent attendance and punctuality
